- Provide co-leadership (with Dale Safrit) for 4-H youth development staff development (including paid and unpaid staff), focusing on volunteer development.
- Serve as staff liaison and advisor to the NC 4-H Volunteer Leaders' Association
- Serve as state contact for Southern Region Leader Forum
- Conduct scholarly and creative work related to hob responsibilities
- Coordinate 4-H Master Volunteer and state level training programs for 4-H volunteers
- Serve as district 4-H liaison to Southwest District
- Assist with implementation of objectives related to developing responsible youth
