USDA/4-H Air Force Partnership Project

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Coordinate the new Air Force youth fitness initiative. Develop marketing materials, plan and conduct trainings, create and distribute training materials, and report program impact and accomplishments.
  • Provide leadership, support and coordination to Air Force youth development staff that are establishing and sustaining 4-H clubs and programs for youth of military families.
  • Work with CSREES, USDA, 4-H and other youth serving organizations and Air Force staff to determine needs of youth professionals in the base youth programs and plan and make arrangements for conferences and training sessions.
  • Provide support for the Air Force Youth of the Year program and coordinate Air Force wide Teen Leadership Council program.
