NC 4-H
Application
The application is based on applications from Square D (an engineering company), Manpower (a temporary agency hiring for varied positions) and Hardee’s. The application is 2 pages; thereby, allowing young people to summarize their most important 4-H experiences.
Young people may submit an application in up to three (3) curriculum categories and should indicate the curriculum categories in which they have participated on the picture page. The young person’s name must also be entered on the On Line Form by the due date in each curriculum category in which they are eligible. You may enter more than one (1) 4-H’er from your county in each category. A 4-H may apply for all three trips on the same application, however they will only be allowed to be named winner in one trip in a given year.
On Line Submission of the Application:
Categories are listed on the transmittal form, which is completed on the Intranet 4-H Section. A copy of the computer printout should be included with the application package when submitting to the Department of 4-H Youth Development. Please note that the actual application and resume must be mailed or delivered to Raleigh and that the On Line Submission is sent electronically.Please list all 4-H members who are considered eligible as a recipient of a trip to National 4-H Youth Congress in the specific curriculum categories and specific project completed in each area. Some trips are designated for the overall category
and others are project specific (those indented below) so you should enter the 4-H member in all areas that apply.
TO BE ELIGIBLE, THE 4-H MEMBER MUST HAVE PARTICIPATED IN 4-H PROGRAMS IN THE SPECIFIC CURRICULUM AREAS FOR AT LEAST TWO (2) YEARS.
