4-H Professional Needs and Assets Assessment Introduction
Each year in late autumn, state 4-H faculty collect critical data from county 4-H professionals regarding the professionals' needs and assets in leading county 4-H programs. The assessment may be organized around the 4-H PRKC model, NC 4-H Long Range Focus Areas (LRFAs), or a specific program or professional area.
The resulting data are compiled, summarized, and shared with state 4-H program staff so as to better plan and implement effective in-service opportunities during the following year in support of county 4-H professionals and programs.
