.

Leaders
vary from one another in how they work collaboratively toward a
shared vision. What’s more, the same leader may use a variety
of different leadership behaviors and techniques to effectively
work with others.
There is no
single “best” leadership approach or technique that
all leaders should use in working with others in all situations.
In fact, one leadership approach that many leaders use is called
situational leadership and it is based on two factors: (1) the type
of task the leader and team must complete, and (2) the type of relationship
between the leader and team members.
All leaders
should be familiar with two basic leadership behaviors: transactional
leadership and transformational leadership.
