The N.C. 4-H Development Fund
The NC 4-H Development Fund, is a non-profit, charitable foundation operated under the auspices of the NC Agricultural Foundation, Inc. at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, as defined in Internal Revenue Service code 501(c)3. The NC 4-H Development Fund operates as a private entity that obtains resources for the NC 4-H Youth Development program and for the county programs that it serves. The Development Fund's four primary beneficiaries are 4-H youth; 4-H parents and volunteers; 4-H agents, program assistants, and specialists; and donors and sponsors.
What is 4-H?
4-H offers fun and lively learning opportunities to youth aged 6-19. With the support of parents, volunteers, and youth development professionals, young people "Learn by Doing." 4-H, supported through national, state, and county partnerships, offers a wide range of activities for youth through its neighborhood clubs, camps, and special activities. Membership is free and all youth are invited to join.
